On July 7,2023,we are honored to invite Professor Wang Liu from the Department of Modern Mechanics at the University of Science and Technology of China,Professor Yan Wei from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Donghua University,and Associate Professor Zhang Qiuhong from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Nanjing University to bring us a series of exciting reports.
As the opening speaker,Teacher Wang Liu shared a fascinating report on the research of vascular intervention magnetic control surgical robots,analyzing the two diseases that require"dredging"for ischemic stroke caused by thrombosis obstruction and"blocking"for hemorrhagic stroke caused by aneurysm rupture.Vividly and vividly introduced us to the key issues in the design of magnetic control robots and the clever solutions to practical problems in the specific research process.
Professor Yan Wei has been committed to the design and preparation of integrated and multifunctional intelligent electronics and electronic optical fibers for many years.He detailed the research progress of intelligent electronic fibers in recent years and explained how to design and prepare electronic optical fibers.In terms of fiber applications,he also introduced a single intelligent fiber that inspired the human auditory system to utilize nanoscale vibrations,achieving the collection and monitoring of weak audible sound signals(20-20000 Hz,10-7 atm).Teacher Yan Wei proposed that making clothes capable of seeing,listening,speaking,communicating,generating electricity,storing electricity,storing,memorizing,analyzing,reasoning,and ultimately becoming intelligent devices like computers or mobile phones is his ultimate goal.
The last exciting report was shared by Teacher Zhang Qiuhong,which introduced in simple terms the rapid development of stretchable electrons in recent years and the important significance of elastic substrates in the preparation of stretchable electrons.Teacher Zhang's research group prepared a series of high toughness self-healing elastomers using slip rings instead of traditional crosslinking agents,effectively improving electrical stability.
The three teachers not only gave a detailed introduction to the relevant scientific research achievements,but also shared their mental journey,various turning points,and inspirations in completing this series of research.They also encouraged everyone to create more conditions and opportunities for themselves,and be brave enough to seek advice and learn from outstanding people.
